The UCI have provisionally suspended Team Milram rider Roy Sentjens in response to a report from a WADA accredited laboratory in Cologne. The Labs findings stated that there was an ‘Adverse Analytical Finding of Recombinant EPO’ collected from Sentjens during an out-of-competition test on 16th August 2010. Sentjens has the right to request and attend the analysis of his B sample.
Sentjens, a classics specialist, started his career with Rabobank in 2002, and transferred to Predictor-Lotto for the 2007 season before joining Team Milram earlier this season. His biggest success to date was winning the 2003 Kuurne-Brüssel-Kurrne semi classic.
