Bike Pure will be supporting the 2010 Ras de Cymru. Promoted by Cadence Cycle Racing and supported by the Newport & South East Wales Business Tourism and Capital Regional Tourism, the stage race runs over five days through the picturesque South Wales countryside and is a unique event on the British calendar. Nicole Cooke is a former winner of the event and the 2010 edition consists of a prologue TT, hilly road stages and a team time trial which will surely produce a worthy overall winner. Bike Pure shall be supporting the event with several hundred wristbands and spacers handed out to riders and officials over the course of the event. The race begins on June 30th and finishes on July 4th.

Andy Layhe from Bike Pure said, “We are very pleased to support such a unique event and send the Bike Pure message of clean, healthy cycling to the riders in this years event. After our recent support of the British Junior Championships, which were also held in Wales, it is a pleasure for us to link with such an event and show our support to both the riders, race organisors and sponsors involved. We wish a safe and successful event to all those involved.”

Chris Landon, race organizer of the Ras de Cymru 5 day stage race, echoed Bike Pure’s message, “I am delighted to support Bike Pure through the Ras de Cymru 5 day stage race.  The race is aimed at UK based riders to emulate their heroes and the major professional races.  Our riders deserve role models that they can really believe in – that’s exactly what Bike Pure and the Ras de Cymru promote.”
