Bike Pure will be supporting the British Junior Road Race Championships which take place in Brecon, South Wales this weekend. The 74 mile event sees one hundred of the UK’s top under 19 riders battle it out over a hilly course in a bid to claim the National Champions jersey that has previously been adorned by Team Sky’s Steve Cummings and Garmin’s Daniel Martin.
All starters will receive the Bike Pure wristband and headset spacer in a symbolic gesture from the indepenent anti-doping organization that continues to gain distinction on a global scale. Co-founder of Bike Pure, Myles McCorry said “It is very important for young athletes to develop learning ethics as well as speed, we are delighted to support the next generation of champions and hope together we can help create a safer environment for them to win in.”
Race organisor Chris Landon echoed Bike Pure’s sentiments, “We are pleased to partner Bike Pure for what is the most prestigious junior event of its kind in the UK. Bike Pure are going to great lengths to improve the image of cycling and we applaud their endeavour and commitment to honesty and integrity. To see so many of the UK’s top juniors wearing the blue wristband in events will send a strong message.”
