Bike Pure Press Release 10th March 2010

The 2010 Bike Pure cycling team clothing will be produced by Onimpex UK/Bio Racer, one of the world’s leading cycling garment manufacturers. Bio Racer have a long history within cyclesport and supply several National Federations, including the USA, Netherlands and Belgium.

Onimpex UK/Bio Racer will initially produce jerseys and bib shorts for the anti-doping organization, with further items being added as the season progresses. Co-founder of Bike Pure, Andy Layhe said, “We were very impressed with Bio Racer and their support for our organisation. The quality of their garments is second to none and we could not have been able to order the kit without their support and that of the sponsors .”

The new design was implemented by Bike Pure with assistance from graphic designer Jamie Leung. Andy Layhe said “The new design is in keeping with Bike Pure’s previous jersey, a clean, fresh eye catching garment, although we have now added the World Champions colours to represent the seven world champion role models, who give our members hope for the future of our wonderful sport. We wanted a line of garments that our members and cyclists alike would be proud to wear and show that they bike with honor.” The clothing range will also be available in both Men’s and Women’s sizing to provideĀ  superior comfort and fit.

Onimpex UK/BioRacer CEO Ken Jones, reflected Bike Pure’s sentiments, “It has been a great pleasure to be involved with the new Bike Pure kit. Bike Pure’s message is loud and clear and we at Onimpex UK / Bio Racer have faith in what Bike Pure are trying to achieve in the sport.”

Outlining Bike Pure’s future plans Layhe said, “In the not too distant future, we hope to set up Bike Pure cycling teams in countries where our membership is thriving, enabling cyclists to race under the Bike Pure banner and wear the colours, helping to spread the message that you can compete clean in this sport, a sport that has major health benefits for everyone.”

The new clothing is kindly supported by Eurobike, Modo and Aspire Velotech and can be purchased directly from Bike Pure with proceeds going to help keep the non-profit organization running.

The new clothing range consists of short sleeve jersey, long sleeve thermal top, bib shorts and a rainproof/windproof Gilet vest. All clothing orders also receive a free Bike Pure wristband and headset spacer and will hopefully help fund the organization into the bright future.
