Newly crowned Australian Road Race Champion Travis Meyer (Garmin-Transitions) showed his versatility by helping the Australian team pursuit squad take gold in the UCI Track World Cup in Biejing, China. Meyer lined up with team mates Luke Durbridge, Michael Hepburn, Leigh Howard to record a time of 4min1.226 seconds in the final against the Netherlands, catching their opponents at the 3km mark.

All four of the Australian team form part of Bike Pure and are showing their class as the next generation of riders who can with the trust and respect of the fans who support them.

Meanwhile, in the women’s team pursuit, it was Australia who once again took gold with new Bike Pure addition Josephine Mills Tomic leading the squad to a winning time of 3min22.879secs. Tomic is also the current World Omnium Champion and we are delighted to have her form part of our organization.
